[Dxbase] MicroHam CW keyer and Omni 6 interface cable?

Anyone else out there using the microHam CW keyer with DXBase and an Omni 6 rig?  

What kind of cable is used for the radio interface?  Is it as simple as a cable with mini stereo phone plugs at both ends?  Or does it have a 25-pin connector at the radio end?   

I purchased the keyer for use with my K2, and couldn't get it to work with my newly built KIO2 interface.  So, I tried hooking up the keyer to the Omni 6 with just the stereo plug and couldn't get communications with the Omni either.  

Hope I haven't damaged the keyer.
