[Dxbase] HF radio failed to respond

I have changed my computer and now cannot get the radio to respond.

My settings are:-

Yaesu  FT1000MP
Tick    Connect to HF Radio
|NO tick    Default DTR
4800    Baudrate
8    Wordlength
1    Comport ( but how do I detect which port is now used?  have tried changing it 
without any luck so far as I thought that this might be the problem
None    Parity
2    Stop bits
I only use SSB so "Set HF Radio RTTY mode" has a DOT in USB
"Non serial port type interface" has DOT in NONE

My logging programme works OK so I assume that the transfer of the software to the new 
computer was done OK...but maybe I am wrong?  Help appreciated; thank you
