The only way I can see this being implemented is to really have 4 different band plans.
1. cw, 2. ssb, 3. digital, 4. custom
And then upon starting DXB, you would have the option to choose which one you wish to use.
And still, the 40 meter situation would still goof up.
a spot for a rtty station falling within the bands listed as SSB (VE and most of the rest
of the world) you designated as LSB would still false spot.
The only way I see it could work is that if a spot for a station below 7.150 also had a
QSX listing above 7.150, than DXB would assume it to be LSB and not RTTY.
40 meters is the major culprit but this situation also occurs on 160 where actually the
entire band can operate any mode. It's a gentleman's agreement that there are segments,
and during contests, that agreement is not used.
now remember, the more filtering Jack has to include, the slower the process.
If you experience slowness now, this 'may' increase.
