[Dxbase] MicroKEYER problem

Eric,

I could be wrong, but I thought the microKeyer used a solid state switch (BJT) to key the PTT. (The reason I'm not certain is my amp relay is pretty loud, and the microKeyer sits next to the amp). I know for a fact that the WinKey circuit board uses a BJT switch from pin 5 of the WinKey chip to switch the PTT. I use the PTT to key my amplifier lead-in of 20 msec and a tail delay of 180 msec (these parameters are setup in DXBase, also in the microKeyer router software). This prevents "hot switching" of the amp relay.
