Art, I use MMTTY also, and maybe we are talking about two different things.
First off, you can call MMTTY from the Programs Menu option, you don't have to turn rig
control off, and MMTTY can be set to the same com port at DXBase cw is set to.
MMTTY has it's own little logging program that is easily .adi imported to DXBase.

You can download the free HamScope which uses the MMTTY engine and does save directly to
DXBase.
At this very moment, I have DXBase and MMTTY both working on the same computer and each on
a different monitor although I could easily do it on the same monitor.
You are correct in that MMTTY will not DDE link to DXBase, but I don't think it will do
that to any logging program other than Writelog which needs that little add-on applet.
Please let me know why you have to turn off DXB rig control.
