Jim,

I think you are experiencing normal operation with the WinKey.  The only
time my speed pot works is when I first power up the computer (before DXBase
is loaded).  The program takes over speed control after that, and the speed
pot is inoperative, even after I close down DXBase.  (Works the same way
with my Omni 6 and TS-850S).
