To search for a certain date range, use the Filter - Selection function
available.  I use it all the time.   Check Help for detailed how-to.

Is there a way to look at a old paper type log in DX4WIN   I have 16K 
contacts and want to look at what happened in 2006 and don't know what to do
I can do a log search a callsign but wondered if there was a way to look at
certain dates
