Hello Bill,

Try this:
Radio > Ignore Mode in real-time
This should allow you to select FT8 when logging.

OR - just import your WSJT-X log into DX4WIN every so often. I find that
easier.

Subject: [Dx4win] Mode using FT8

I am looking for advice.  When working FT8 using my TS890 with the 890
connected to DX4WIN via virtual 232 port the mode shown in log is SSB when
the radio actual mode is USB-D (data). If try to log a contact directly into
the log this "SSB" sitting for mode cannot be changed.  The cables and
connections are all OK as DX4WIN tracks the freq and mode in CW and RTTY
fine. I think there is a problem in the .rig file but I do not know how to
fix it.  All help welcome!

Thanks,
Bill...K5ZQ
