[Dx4win] Download Report from LOTW

LOTW has the QSO as confirmed. The import from LOTW of confirmed with the bad freq is what DX4WIN tagged as qso not found. Band info was correct on LOTW and my original DX4WIN entry. Maybe I do not understand how the "Not Found" is generated. Thought it was by DX4WIN when downloading the LOTW report. I know lotw uses band and not the freq. That is not the issue.

When a QSO is uploaded, TQSL will use the BAND if it's set and if not, try to convert the FREQ to a band.
The current version ignores the FREQ if it's outside of the band.
Prior versions of TQSL would reject a QSO if the BAND and FREQ weren't consistent.

In short, you shouldn't worry about the Logbook QSOs as they're going to use the BAND for your QSOs when generating a match.

I recently found that I could download my LOTW confirmations into DX4WIN. I generated the report, but then there was a file generated of "Not Found". When I looked at the QSOs that had been tagged, they all had a common band of 20M. Many were actually from a 6M contest, but there were other QSOs from 80, 40 and 17M. LOTW had all the QSOs confirmed. What was common for all the QSOs was the Freq box in the LOTW records. For 6m, the frequency was 0.05xxx. 80 m 0.0035, 40m 0.00705, 17m 17.078 and 0.01813. I do not know why the frequencies were listed as they were as they are directly from the radio.

When I imported into my DX4WIN log, the LOTW report for confirmed QSOs, DX4WIN apparently over rides the band with the frequency and if it does not match the band, the report generates 20M as the band and registers as QSO not found.

I just went in to DX4WIN and manually entered the LOTW confirmations. The original file uploaded to LOTW had the errors in the frequency box. I cleared all of those in DX4win and reuploaded the affected QSOs to LOTW, but LOTW rejected the updates as duplicate entries. LOTW log has the frequency errors in the QSO and there is no provision to correct or delete them.

Will have to watch and see why the frequency is not being reported correctly.
