No, they do not auto link.  You set it WSJT to log to an ADIF file you name.
Then import the ADIF at any time saying "IGNORE DUPLICATES" and it will only
import the new QSOs.  You do not need to delete file or anything.

Friend of mine is pushing me to install JT Alert for a number ( of possibly
good reasons) . Before I jump into the learning curve pool with yet another
program. Any one here using JT Alert with DX4WIN? I purportedly
automatically interfaces  with WJST-X and some ( all?) logging programs and
automatically logs the WJST-X QSO instead of having to come along and import
the WJST-x log into your logging program after the fact. So far I see no
reference to the two playing Together?
