Hi Bill,
-You can set Max tries to 1 and Poll rate to 500mS (better 1000mS)
or
-You can start DX4WIN and b4 push F9 go into the Radio tab and stop the
Radio

Delphi (the programming software) sets RS232 communications on top of the
priority list so
It can only time out....

I have another issue I hope is resolved in the new release. When no radio is
present or the radio is turned off while to program is running it freezes
DX4WIN until the radio times out.  Why freeze the program while we wait for
the radio to time out, just continue normally with a warning message a
bottom of window or time out much faster.
