[Dx4win] Task Manager required to shut down DX4WIN

On my Windows 10 computer, DX4WIN will not shut down except with the use of
task manager.

 

When I Close or use the upper right X, only the DX4WIN data entry window
goes away.  Task manager is required to kill everything else.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions to help me to remove this annoyance?
