My question is I have noticed that my .adi and .dxl file is saved in my Secondary Backup but not my DX4WIN program. If I look in c:/DX4W805/save I see the "Sample" log but not my "N4EPD" log and no n4epd.dxl or n4epd.~xl file. If I look in my Secondary Backup Directory it is there. Why is it not being saved in DX4805/ save ?
Mike, when you re-open DX4WIN, your log comes up, correct? I wonder
if you are saving the log in the secondary backup directory instead of
the primary backup directory. This obviously defeats the purpose of
having a secondary backup directory!
Start DX4WIN. Assuming it's loading your log, click, on File | Save.
At the top of this window will be a line that says "Look in:". Click
on the down-arrow in this field. It will show you the directory where
DX4WIN is saving your log.
Exit this window, then File | Save As and navigate to your
DX4W805\SAVE directory. Type in N4EPD.dxl and then save the log. Now
exit DX4WIN and re-start. Ensure you log is loaded. Perform the same
steps above to see where DX4WIN saved your log file. Ensure that it
was into your DX4W805\SAVE directory.
