[Dx4win] CW Keyboard Using the Parrallel Port

Joe,
Thanks! I finally realized that the new driver was in a folder called
'drivers' and I clicked the file to load it. I rebooted the PC and the
keyboard still didn't work. I tried loading the driver again and this time I
noticed that it was being loaded into a folder for an older version of
DX4Windows that never existed on this PC. I loaded the driver in the proper
folder this time and rebooted. Voila!
The driver installation software was creating a folder for an older version
of DX4Windows and installing the new driver there. I wasn't paying close
attention the first time. I wonder if this has happened to others.
Thanks for your help,
73..de John/K4WJ

Did you reinstall the DX4Win LPT driver when you had to reinstall DX4Win
after the HD failure? See the LPT Driver topic in the DX4Win Help file for
more information - it is the first topic in the list when you search the
help file for LPT.
