[Dx4win] DX4WIN and FLEX5000A Radio Time Out

I am running DX4WIN v8.05 and a Flex5000A transceiver.
The computer is a quad core 64 running WIN7.
I keep getting the "Radio Time Out" message. No matter how the
Polling Rate is set or the MAX Tries are set. It is persistant to say the
least..
I will say that after pouring through the threads, I see that there was
a suggestion of setting the max tries to "1", I did so and that seems to
have
helped but the problem still occurs and is really annoying in the heat of a
QSO War!
Any suggestions......HELP !
