I noticed that the numbers keep going up a bit at a time every couple of
days.
I guess it will take some time....

My experience is similar. With over 100K QSOs, DX4WIN reports that I should
have over 2000 WPX confirmed on LoTW alone. The LoTW web site shows 238.
This notice was posted on July 2:
"Jul 2, 2012: WPX -- LoTW is now displaying a WPX Award table in each user
account under the tab Awards. Over the next couple of days users will see
the numbers in the tables go up as the system continues to process log data
that is already in the system."
It's been 5 days now, that's more than a "couple of days". I suspect the
processing is taking longer than they thought it would.
