[Dx4win] Check your CW Cutoff frequencies (30m might be wrong)

I would like to see this changed to be able to add another cutoff frequency. 
That way the digital sub band could be separated out from cw and ssb sub 
bands. This past weekend with the rtty contest would be a good example. Lots 
of dx spots for rtty stations that did not have rtty in the comments field 
for the spot. DX4WIN then thinks it’s a cw spot and colors the spot 
accordingly depending on need. You could make it where the user can change 
the default mode for the digital portion to suit his/her needs.

Hi Folks,

I just helped Vlad R7LV fix his CW cutoff frequencies. He was still
seeing colored (needed) DX spots for stations he had already worked.
If the CW cutoff frequencies are not set correctly, DX4WIN will not be
able to distinguish CW spots from non-CW spots (unless the spot MODE
is included in the comment field of the DX spot).

If you have upgraded from one DX4WIN version to another, merging your
.INI file (preferences) each time, it's possible that your CW cutoff
frequencies may not be correct.  The CW cutoff frequency is the
frequency at which DX4WIN NO LONGER considers them to be in the CW
band.  For example, on 10 meters (28 MHz), the default CW cutoff
frequency is 28,300 KHz; DX4WIN will think that spots LOWER than that
frequency are CW, and spots on that frequency or HIGHER are NOT CW.

Remember, there have been some changes in the last several years
regarding 80 and 40 meter SSB operation, and if you have been
migrating your DX4WIN preferences from version to version, you might
have the old cutoff frequencies.

To check your CW Cutoff frequencies, go to Preferences and click on
the QSO tab.  In the bottom-right hand corner of the preferences,
there will be a box that says, "CW frequency cutoff"

Check each band by clicking inside the Band field and using the
drop-down menu.  Once the cursor is inside the Band field, you can
just use the up/down arrow keys to change bands.  To correct a band's
cutoff frequency, type the frequency, in kHz, into the "Frequency
(kHz)" field.

Here are the default CW cutoff frequencies for a new installation of
DX4WIN 8.05 (nothing merged into preferences):

160m: 1,840 kHz
80m:  3,600 kHz
60m:  5,330 kHz
40m:  7,125 kHz
30m:  10,100 kHz ****
20m:  14,150 kHz
17m:  18,110 kHz
15m:  21,200 kHz
12m:  24,930 kHz
10m:  28,300 kHz

*** I think this is wrong.  This should cause DX4WIN to treat all 30
meter spots as *NOT* CW.  I think it should be set to 10,130 kHz or
higher, which appears to be the start of the digital band (see:
http://www.bandplans.com/index.php?band=30 )

When you are done making changes, make sure to use File | Save Changes
and Exit.  Before doing that, however, it might be a good time to also
do File | Write INI file to save your preferences, in case something
happens to your DX4WIN.CFG file, or you want want to upgrade and keep
your preferences.
