preferences have been corrupted?  When in that window F1 for help and there
is a link showing an example of the patterns might help?

Excuse part of that post;  the 9 is the priority;  I got confused.

It's still not updating though.   I've let it sit for about 30 minutes and
there are no changes to the spot window.    Isn't there a keep alive
issue?   I searched the help index for "keep alive" etc but didn't find
anything.
