[Dx4win] Can QSO times change in DX4Win?

I recently recovered my DX4Win qsos dating back from 1953 to April 2009.
These were all in GMT time on a separate computer that was destroyed by
a lightning strike.

After recovering the .dxl file I purchased version 8.04 of DX4Win
and installed it on a Windows 7 laptop.

So far I have made no new qsos.

Unfortunately I made an error when I setup DX4Win because the time is
set for US Central time instead of GMT (Universal Coordinated Time now).

My question: If I change the new laptop of GMT will that make any time
change in my previous qsos? I know Windows is funny in how they handle
the time and will make time changes in files, supposedly to accommodate
businessmen who travel a lot.

I would make sure DX4Win is not running when I make a time zone change.

I'm afraid that changing the laptop time to GMT might affect the times
on my many thousands of qsos. I don't care about the time/date on the
actual .dxl file but I care very much about the times listed in the qso
records.

So ... as the villain repeated many times in the movie Marathon Man,
"IS IT SAFE?".
