[Dx4win] Printers

I print QSO information directly on pre printed QSL cards using a HP
Photosmart C7100. It has a small tray especially for printing photos. I
can load 20 cards a time in there. I print directly from DX4WIN, it took a
bit of mucking around as the card size is not supported so I just use the
nearest one, since locating where the info is printed is done from one edge
it does not matter that the other edge is not where it should be as long as
you don't print on space that does not exist. The 20 cards at a time is a
bit of a pain as I frequently do buro runs 500 plus, so I have gotten quite
adapt at stacking lots of 20 cards and loading them when the printer pauses.
I did find if you send too big a print job to the printer at a time it
looses it's marbles so if doing a big number I use the print range in
DX4WIN. As long as you don't clear the print qsl flags you can work you way
through the entire range at leisure and keep the sort order. Hope that
helps.

Ok all you QSL card guys and gals out there. What is the trick printer now
days (state of the art) for printing QSL card directly (NO Labels) that
works with DX4WIN???? A printer you can add a stack of 50 or more cards and
print directly to them! I know I've asked this a few years back but never
got around to it. Now is the time to make the plunge. Way to many buro cars
to do labels.

Thanks in advance and your a great group,
