I recommend getting a USB "thumb" drive for these kinds of transfers.
Even the 4GB ones are now fairly cheap, and is more than enough
storage for DX4WIN. It avoids the read/write problelms you had.
Plus, you won't have to throw it away when you're done, like you would
with a used CD.
