[Dx4win] F3 and "Update QSO" button

When a bring up a contact, either old or new, in the QSO window and hit F3 
to open the "Callsign /Mgr lookup" window, DX4WIN goes to my CD callsign 
database and put the information in the lookup window fine.

Somehow I expected the "Update QSO" button in the lookup window to copy the 
address, etc., information into the "Notes for this Call" field in the QSO 
window. This action doesn't occur. Is it supposed to? What does the Update 
button actually update?
