[Dx4win] LPT1 Port for CW keying issue.

Hello DX4WINners,

Version 8.03 is not retaining the LPT1 setting in Preferences|CW  for me.

Situation:
I have both 8.02 and 8.03 installed in separate directories in the root C:\
on the same computer.
I am set to Expert Level in both versions.
I am using Windows XP SP3.
I use my LPT1 port to key my transceiver directly.

When I set my CW preference to LPT1 in 8.02, it retains that setting and
works just fine.

When I set my CW preferences to LPT1 in 8.03 and "Save Changes and Exit",
the setting reverts back to "None". Obviously the CW keyboard is inoperative
at that point.

I am not making any hardware changes between the two versions of software.

I did copy my portmon.ini to the 8.03. (turns out, both original files were
identical.)

Using a text editor and looking at portmon.ini, I see, in both cases:

LPT1=
LPT2=
LPT3=

That is there are no settings after the "=" 

If this is a previously discussed item, I could not find it in the archives.

Everything else seems to be working fine and I appreciate the many
improvements.

Help?
