[Dx4win] Grey spot problem 9x0R

I've seen this before, but wonder what is going on? Operator or program problem?

I worked 9X0R on 17m CW today. This is the second contact that I have with 
this country. A previous contact a few years ago was on 15 phone. Before 
working them the spots were yellow (level 1). But after I worked them, all 
the 9X0R spots turned grey, except a phone spot on 20 meters.

Why did the spots on the other bands not worked turn gray?

I'm scratching my head.
Anybody else notice this problem?
