I think we're getting to the point where this discussion is pointless.
There's a bug in at least the current DX4WIN software triggered by
adding a new entity. Sh*t happens. Blaming the victim of the bug isn't
helpful as far as I can see.

Those of us using Jim's country file didn't trip over the bug
(actually, I did, but I reverted to my backup when things went wrong.)
I may have lost info; given that I don't chase WAS (only DXCC) there's
no loss (for me) in this case as it's easily recovered. That's not the
case for some users who have thousands of lost QSOs. Piling onto
someone just because *you* didn't have any data lost isn't helpful.
It's a bug, hopefully it'll get fixed, and we can move on. Let's drop
this topic, please.
