[Dx4win] IC706mk11G

Hi all,
  Can any one help with setting up an IC706mkIIG to talk to DX4Win? It used to work FB but suffered damage from a nearby electrical discharge. It was returned to ICOM for repair and is working OK but I cannot get it to work with DX4Win. I am using the same set-up as before witha MicroHam USB interface. The discharge blew up the processor which was changed so all the settings reverted to factory defaults. I have been going through them all on the menus and getting them back to what I want but cannot get the rig/PC to talk. When I try to "start radio" I get a message saying "ie_open - device already open" as if another program is using the port. I have tried changing the port although this is theway things were set up previously.
