It's generally NOT a good idea to do what you're doing.  When you get your
cards back from the ARRL, you'll want to change the first set of submitted
flags to checked, but there's no way NOT to make this change to all your newly
marked submitted cards.

Wait for the cards to come back, change Submitted to Checked, *THEN* you can
start marking others as Submitted.
