[Dx4win] What is the proper LoTW setting for a satellite QSO?

Thanks, Jim. Sounds like a simple workaround to enter cross-band QSO's in
DX4WIN. Satellite name could go in the comments field.
I have a follow-on question. From the link you sent:

</START QUOTED TEXT/>
Below is some information specific to entering satellite QSO data for use by
LoTW.
BAND field should show the satellite uplink band
BAND_RX field should show the satellite downlink band
Both the uplink and downlink bands of the two QSO records (yours and the
other station's) must match in order for LoTW to connect the two into a
"QSL" record. Also, LoTW infers the satellite mode from the two band fields,
and any future mode-specific awards will take notice of that.

Where in DX4WIN is there a BAND_RX field?

I don't think DX4WIN exports enough information for Satellite QSOs to upload
them to LoTW. My notes say:
Satellite QSOs don't export to ADIF correctly. At least it's insufficient
for LoTW. "Sat" is not a legal band. Please see this web page:
Logging Satellite Contacts via ARRL's Logbook of the World
http://www.amsat.org/amsat/news/ans2003/ans03271.html#06
There is some more information here about satellite names for the SAT_NAME
field:
LoTW Satellite Name Research and TQSL Source Code Names
http://www.amsat.org/amsat/archive/amsat-bb/200407/msg00951.html
Since DX4WIN doesn't log the satellite name, there may be some work needed
to make an educated guess.
If you get something to work, I can turn it into an application note.
