[Dx4win] RE: Problem with Maximum QSOs Limited to 3 on a CustomLabel

I finally figured out the answer -- I have the "@@" code in the greeting
line at the bottom of the labels to insert either "Pse QSL" or "Tnx QSL",
and some of the test QSOs I selected to print were confirmed, and some
weren't. So DX4WIN correctly printed separate labels for the confirmed and
unconfirmed. I jumped to the incorrect conclusion that it was a label
configuration issue.

Steve, your suggestion about the "print group names" issue helped me focus
on what other differences there were between the Q's, and all of a sudden
the light bulb came on!!! I've now tested it with multiple Q's that are all
unconfirmed, and it's printing the maximum Q's that the label will hold.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback and sorry for the bandwidth!

Steve, thanks for testing it. It's not a "print group names" issue, because
I did not have that selected. I must have something configured incorrectly.
Dick K7VC sent me his custom label file, which prints more than 3 labels
with no trouble. I set up a new custom label with the exact same
configuration which works for Dick, and it still only prints 3 Q's per
label. That made me think it was a printer configuration issue, but the
problem is present on both my inkjet and label printers. At this point, I'm
not sure where to look, but I'll keep checking. If I come up with a "fix"
I'll post it on the reflector. Thanks again.

Hello Cliff,

I just tried it here by copying one of the very tall label formats to
'custom1'.
I knew I had loads of CN8WW contacts from older contests so I did a search
and found 22 of them. Set the print flags and printed them. I got 10 to a
label!

One thing to remember, if you have the option of 'printing 'roup names' on
the labels, it will only print QSO's belonging to the same group on the
same label. I tried it after invoking that option and only got max of 6 to
a label (Worked them all bands in multiple contests.)

So, seems to be working here.
