Is anyone else participating in the CQ DX Marathon?
http://dxmarathon.com/
I am trying to figure out the easiest way to merge my DX4WIN data
into the official submission form.
There are three problems:
- Need a list of countries worked in 2006, with callsigns, date,
time, band and mode.
DX4WIN doesn't provide this kind of listing directly. My approach
will be to clear
any DXCC submitted/checked flags, mark all QSOs as confirmed, then generate
a DXCC Submission Report (mixed-mode only) and save it to a file. And make
sure I don't ever save this log!
Of course the CQ list is sorted by entity name, not prefix. I
should be able to do
that with the DXCC submission report. And the submission report
does not have
times in it.
- Need a way to take that data and merge it into the
spreadsheet. I'm no Excel wizard.
I'll probably just cut/paste.
- the CQ list contains a half-dozen entities which are not on the DXCC list:
4U1VIC
GM/Shetlands
IH9-IG9/African Italy
IT9/Sicily
JW/Bear Island
TA1/European Turkey
So I'll have to pull out those QSOs manually.
- Repeat the same thing for the 40 CQ Zones. I may try just
cutting/pasting the DXCC
info except for those countries with multiple zones (USA, Canada,
Russia, Australia).
