Tony, I tried some of the release candidates of Vista.  I set up my personal
account as administrator.  Even though I could install DX4WIN 7.02, I could not
get it to copy the vichw11.sys driver into the Windows directory (insufficient
permission).  After several tries, I gave up.

I had the same problem with Windows-64.  Even when I installed DX4WIN as a
32-bit application.

I'm typically an early adopter (see  the first sentence I wrote).  However, I
see no compelling reason to upgrade from Windows XP to Vista.
