[Dx4win] Upgrade Checklist

Reference point 4:
Be careful. For instance, there are one or two new reports. If you copy
your old .REP file over it, the new reports will be lost. You need to merge
them by hand with an editor. Could be the same with all the files listed in
number 4.
The .CTY file deserves special consideration (don't you know...?). If you
go with the new one, you will probably have to find and correct various
country and zone errors that have accumulated. This should be done anyway.
And, if you have certain calls which are an exception, and the new .CTY file
doesn't know about them, then those calls may fall into the wrong country or
zone. Also, if you have spent considerable time adding addresses or
managers into your .CTY file in preparation for a QSL run, you will lose all
of them.
The thing to do is to merge (not copy) your .CTY file into the new one and
correct the errors.
73, John
