[Dx4win] Group number startup

Since installing version 6.03 I have noticed a strange phenomenon.

I have set my default startup group as number 3 in preferences and it has
always defaulted to that in earlier versions when I switch on.
However I am now finding that I am logging into other groups unintentionally

When I check the setting in preferences/QSO it has switched to some other
group number without my intervention. Recently it has switched to group 0
and today I found it had moved to group 7.
Anybody else having this problem?
Using XP-Pro here.
