I use Office Max #86100 size 1" x 2 5/8 which gives three across for printing
on my Deskjet 500.
This is a less expensive version of a similiar Avery label.
Look in any office supply store and you should find something close to the size you want.
Note that 3.5" wide will be 2 across.
