[Dx4win] Orion timeouts with DX4WIN?

In the past, I had 1 second delays before sending CW and it was also choppy.
I found that two of my com ports had the same IRQ selected. Now
my Win98SE 266 MHz computer with 256meg ram no longer
sends choppy CW and the sending delay is a fraction of what it used to be.
Since your friend is having radio control problems, I'd check look for
an IRQ conflict. The usual culprits are modems and add on com port
boards.
If you are computer savvy, remove all add in cards except the video card
and then see if the radio control works with the com port on the
motherboard.
