[Dx4win] ByteRunner LPT port problems

I am trying to make DX4WIN control two parallel devices from my Dell/WinXP
computer - a TopTen Devices remote antenna switch and an ARSWin rotor
control. I added a ByteRunner 2xSerial-1xParallel card to my PC, and the
ByteRunner serial ports (used for CI-V interface, CW and RTTY) are working
properly.
However - the ByteRunner parallel port is not working. DX4WIN/TopTen and
ARSWin both work fine when using LPT1 (the built-in LPT port), but NEITHER
program works when trying to use ByteRunner's LPT2.
This card is out of warranty, so my only solution is buying a new card.
Before I spend more money on a replacement ByteRunner, can anyone out there
confirm that they are successfully using a ByteRunner card for LPT control
with DX4WIN on Windows XP? I see (on the ByteRunner web site) that they now
sell a simple, USB-to-LPT cable -- has anyone tried that?
Or, if you are successfully controlling DX4WIN or ARSWin with another
expansion card, please advise me of the product you are using.
Thanks in advance,
-larry
