[DX] VE3OGZ's Operating Tactics

Hi All,

It is my belief that none on this list needs introduction to VE3OGZ. I have
no doubt that I am just one of the MANY operators in the International Ham
fraternity, who have been his victims and are applauded at his tactics. In
the unlikely event that there is someone who is not familiar with this call,
listen to 14.200 any morning between 1100-1300 UTC.

I have often wondered how and why he is allowed to carry on doing what he
does and if Canada cares or bothers! I have addressed many emails to RAC,
which have only resulted in a polite acknowledgement.

The good news is that I have heard from a concerned Canadian operator that
mail to spectrum.amateur at ic.gc.ca may receive due attention.

I appeal to all concerned Amateurs to write and express your disapproval of
what is happening on 14.200. We have all heard squabbles over a freq and
disgruntled operators letting off steam, but in 15 years of Ham Radio, I
have not heard anything quite like this! Mind you, I have been listening to
this guy for at least 12 years -- it only gets worse!

I ams orry to post this message here, but I do not think this is off topic,
as the QRM/Actions by this operator is detrimental to everyone who enjoys
DX.
