I would be interested in seeing comments on this
thread. I am currently using a mini quad (Original,
not the TGM one), but ran a Cushcraft MA5B before
that.
Has anyone been able to directly compare those two
antennas? They seem to work about the same, if memory
serves correct, but I was also able to get the
miniquad up a few feet higher. I really thought that
the MA5B beat the heck out of the dipole I was using
before, and would probably get another if it does
outperform the Mini Quad in most situations.
