[DX] Does anyone still run barefoot?

Well its a good thought about waiting, until the stations suddenly dissapear
from the screen.  I had to wait till I heard P5 good enough to try to
transmit, and one day later he was off the air.  Another time, a group on an
island was going great guns for the frst couple of days, and when the crowd
thinned, the weather shot them down and they left.  Other times the dx
station has been just too weak on the days I have been able to try them, and
then when I am home and ready, no one on the East coast hears a thing. It
comes down to you getting them when you can, thus the call after call after
call.
