Its a lost cause, messing with them.  Much of the ham software will copy
exactly what is being sent, you just wont be able to ever read it.
Governments spend billions of dollars to insure that.

friend of mine asked, 'what are these signals at the 10.100 - 10.103 end of
30 meters?'.  I hear one maybe two distinct signals loudly this time of day,
0000 Z.

I tuned across them with mmtty and they don't decode as ham rtty.  did not
spend much time trying all the various software sound card decoding schemes
as if they are encrypted as seems likely to me it would be hard to tell if I
decoded them correctly or not.

curiousity killed the cat but will only damage me a little bit.....

The one at the band edge is a German meteo transmitter.

around 103 is a broadband signal, probably a military transmitter somewhere
in Europe
. The two render the bottom 5-6 kHz virtually useless here.
