[DX] FT100 and dxing

Looking at getting another rig, and wonder if anyone
on the reflector has had any experience with chasing
dx with a Yaesu FT100D or Icom IC706MKIIG.  They are
both going at very nice prices right now.  I am
currently running a kenwood TS2000, and before that
had an Icom 746, so wonder how the FT100D or 706MKIIG
compares to those radio, so I have a reference point. 


Any comments would be appreciated.
