You've HEARD BQ9P!!. You are better off than I am!!!

You know all the issues. Keep the Yagi and add the vertical; and,
hopefully, have the best of both worlds.

Don't base too much on the BQ9P signals though. They have been
consistently very weak in the eastern US. I've listened for a week,
spent lots of time chasing spots, and made 1 contact on 15 CW. I posted
an honest 429 versus the dx standard 5NN. [However, I lied and reported
a 5NN like all DX! <grin> Note: I'm an ordained clergyman
