     Well I suppose anything is possible Steve...but I really don't see
his 36 cent remark, by any stretch, any sort of recognizable or common
typo.  But instead as a indicator that the excessive $$$ burden, and
frustration and seemingly endless waiting for cards, that active DXers
are saddled with in order to get these ARRL awards is something that he
is not concerned with.  That is my conclusion and opinion...

  Also I do want to add that it was Jim, the ARRL president, that first
contacted me this morning about this matter. I did not initiate the
email correspondence.   In the same breath however I want to be sure to
add that Jim was very courteous and friendly in his manner.   He even
invited my Ham wife and myself to return to the ARRL....
