Well one could apply a strict interpretation like that or it could be taken
to mean simply a card that was obtained through the eQSL service.

I have, on occasion, printed out an email so that I could show it to
somebody else, I would say something like "take a look at this email I got
from..." I have never had the other guy say "A printed email is not an
email.  Isn't the "e" in "email" supposed to mean electronic, ie
non-printed? In every case it has been taken as understood that the printed
email was actually a printout of something that had been sent
electronically.
