As usual, there's a little more to the story than the subject line & text
implies:

(1) In order to be valid for DXCC, the eQSL has to be printed & mailed to
you.
(2) The cost is not free. The cost is $1 per mailed card. And only
cards sent to addresses in the US can be mailed at present.
(3) You have to set up a "postage account" in advance, minimum $5, in
order to use this "service."

This is based on an email from Bill Moore NC1L. Reading that email, I get
the impression that this was an answer to an individual's query, NOT an
"official" ruling per se regarding an "official" request from eQSL's. I for
one would prefer to wait for Bill to make a formal statement, rather than
jump the gun on this.

But gang, here's the rub. In essence, eQSL is now acting as a QSL
manager -- and charging a hefty fee for the privilidge (of that $1 --
remember, paid in advance, only 1/3 goes to postage. And that's assuming
the card is sent first class. If it's sent as a post card... bulk mailed...
computer generated... ok, let's say the total cost is $.50, that's still
quite a bit for eQSL to pocket, and NONE of that goes back to the
originating station). So if they are now mailing you a card instead of
handling the card electronically, What Is The Point of eQSL's?

Sounds more like a step backward than the promised step forward!
