        I just added the Orion's claimed IMDDR3 spec to my 
previous table of ARRL test measurements at 5 kHz spacing:

Ten-Tec has indeed apparently set a new standard in transceiver performance
which should hopefully shock the Japanese from their focus on "whistles and
bells", cosmetics, etc. back to a horserace in fundamental improvements in
RX and TX performance.  We'll all benefit if that happens.  Thank you Ten-Tec!
