IMHO, the C3S is the "most bang for boom" on a 12 ft boom
for 20, 15, 10. The new XR5 looks like a GREAT design for
20, 17, 15, 12, 10 on an 18 ft boom.

Monoband REFLECTORS can be lined up with minimal interaction.
Lower frequency DIRECTORS act as inefficient REFLECTORS
in front of higher band elements which explains why traps or
many additional 'sleeve' elements are needed to counteract
destructive interference from monoband directors in multiband
antennas.

The 'monster' tribanders (e.g. C31XR on 31 ft boom) has
less than 2 dB more gain than a C3S on a 12 ft boom
on 20 and 15M !

The CC X7 is another interesting approach with a Log Cell
for the Driven Elements and a single Trapped Director for
20, 15, 10 and full size reflectors for 20 and 17 on an 18 ft boom.
