This group also counts towards super rare ITU zone beyond
75 ITU (land) zones, as well as rare IOTA island SA-083.
ITU 78 CE0 (Salas-y-Gomez)

I have seen footage of CE government sponsored trip to
this entity on TV. The sea mount between S&G and Easter Island
was proposed as Marine National park. Not sure if it happened since
CE commercial fishing was against this idea. Any info on this
Marine park?

Sala Y Gomez counts as CE0Y - Easter Island for DXCC. Per the current DXCC
rules it is not far enough away from Easter Island to count as another DXCC
Entity. The only operation I am aware of was that of XR0Z back in September
1995.

distant, far enough away, I think, to allow Salas to be separate from them!
