I was told by the station trustee at the time that if you were to drill a
hole through the floor of the hamshack you'd be looking down at the desk of
the Secretary General. So yeah, security was and is a huge concern. I would
like to think a temporary Field Day style operation from their East River
grounds might someday be a possibility and if it ever happens, I sure want
to be part of it.

Half (if not more) of the problem is that it is in one of the most secured
buildings in the world.  Ask those who were permitted, back in the day, to
operate.
