Rubbish! (_Kindly said)._ When you are in a contest you are in it to 
win! Cultures (sad to say) are  based on winning  and please don't take 
a defeatist attitude by saying "ham radio is a dying hobby". Your in it 
by virtue of your license; contribute to it instead of defeating it.
